Ingredients

  • 200 gms Rice


  • 2 tablespoon oil


  • 1 tablespoon ghee


  • 1 tablespoon jeera


  • 2 tej patta


  • 3 laung


  • 2 elaichi


  • 2 tablespoon garlic chili paste


  • 2 onions chopped


  • 1 tomato chopped


  • 250gm chopped methi leaves


  • 150 gm panner cubes


  • 4 tablespoon curd


  • 1 tablespoon tumeric


  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder


  • 1 tablespoon garam masala


  • 1 tablespoon biryani masala


  • 1/4 cup mint leaves


  • 1/2 cup sliced fried onion


  • 1 tablespoon cashew


  • 1/4 cup saffron milk


  • 1 tablespoon salt

Directions

  • Take one bowl in it mix curd, salt, turmeric powder,garam masala, panner marinate it for ten minutes,
  • Steam the rice and do tadka of jeera and add mint leaves , safforany milk and fried onions to it. mix well.
  • Take a pan add oil ,ghee, jeera, tej pata, laung , elaichi, chopped onions , garlic chilli paste. Now cook for 2 mins.
  • Now add tomatoes , methi leaves, and marinated paneer into the pan and cook well for 2 mins. Now add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, and some mint leaves. Mix well and keep it aside.
  • Take a bowl greece it with oil. Set fried onions, mint leaves, and cashews at the bottom. Now make the first layer of steamed rice , then second layer of methi paneer , and again add rice layer to it. Press it well with spatula. Now unmold it upside-down in serving plate.
  • Ready to serve with annar raita/curd.
